About Marta Frankiewicz
I am a research specialist at the Animal Research Facility of the Faculty of Pharmacy, a research and service unit supporting the development of medicinal products, medical devices and biomaterials. Our laboratory is covered by a management system according to the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 standard. My main specialization is the assessment of the biocompatibility of medical devices using in vitro methods, with particular emphasis on cytotoxicity tests (ISO 10993-5). I participate in the part of the analysis of the biological safety of materials and substances in the preclinical phase, supporting the registration process and the development of innovative medical solutions. Additionally, our laboratory carries out cytotoxicity tests in accordance with the principles of Good Laboratory Practice. The Animal Research Facility is a team of experienced specialists, offering a wide range of in vivo and in vitro tests for academic and industrial partners. Our goal is to provide reliable data, compliant with current standards, that support the safety and effectiveness of new medical technologies.
