My experience as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of a multi-billion dollar multi-national Private Equity fund and a multi-state casino chain, allows me to offer clients a unique, business-sensitive perspective. I have successfully guided clients through DOJ prosecutions, SEC and other regulatory proceedings, complex litigation, internal investigations, Congressional hearings and intense media scrutiny. I have focused on FARA, campaign finance and obstruction of justice cases arising from the Mueller Investigation, and on the #MeToo movement and cancel culture. I also have expertise in newly emergent areas involving the economic impact of Covid-19, including the CARES Act Paycheck Protection Program, In 2020, I brought my practice to the U.S. arm of Withersworldwide, a global firm founded in London in 1895, as head of White Collar and Investigations.
