Martin is an experienced board level executive and non-executive leader who has deliberately gained experience across a variety of functional areas during his career in preparation for becoming a CEO in 2016. In 2018, he was one of six finalists for the business leader of the year award. He is a true people person with a demonstrable track record in delivering significant business improvement in areas such as people engagement and productivity, commercial growth and revenue stability, product quality and innovation, customer experience, operational excellence, asset quality, risk management and of course leadership; each time resulting in significant, sustainable improvement for the business with gains across all KPIs. He is agile in his ability to transcend multiple sectors such as airports, hospitals, shared services, food manufacturing, complex logistics and the water industry. He enjoys highly challenging, high risk, highly regulated environments with multiple stakeholders and public focus.
