About Mateusz Pucilowski

Mateusz is an evaluation methodologist working to improve development effectiveness through the design, implementation, and utilization of policy-relevant research. Having worked in public and private sectors, he has a keen understanding of monitoring and evaluation challenges experienced by both the supply and demand sides. Mateusz has experience leading all stages of the evaluation cycle: • Drafted evaluation SOWs for procurement • Developed technical and cost proposals for dozens of bids • Managed 25+ evaluations • Led evaluation design, field work, and analysis on impact evaluations, performance evaluations, multi-country assessments, and cost-effectiveness studies • Presented at numerous workshops and international conferences Mateusz has worked in 20 countries for a range of clients, including donors (USAID, MCC, DOS, IDB), NGOs, foundations, and private sector companies. He has trained hundreds of bilateral, multilateral, and implementing partner personnel through 30+ deliveries of M&E courses around the world.
