About Matt Loehr

I am a business leader and author called to serve the local church and Christian businesses. My heart is for the Gospel and to see lives changed. I believe God wants to use the church and local businesses to make this happen. Churches need to be healthy and fruitful in order for people to come to know Christ, grow in that relationship, and be a light to the world. Churches are God's plan for the world.but too often churches create barriers instead of bridges to faith. I believe God has given me a unique opportunity to come alongside local churches to help them fulfill their role in God's plan for the world. I believe a healthy church is a growing church. I help churches identify threats and sources of conflict, find solutions that work, cast a long-term vision, bring all stakeholders on board, and unify leaders, staff and congregants around the common mission and values. This leads to growth, both numerically and spiritually. I also believe strong families make strong churches so I help churches establish a marriage mentoring process within their congregation. Similarly, businesses can be a bridge to serve and care for the community. I work with small to medium-sized Christian companies to train leadership and employees on developing deeper and more productive relationships that, in turn, drive a clear shared vision, unified teams and increasing sales. I have nearly 20 years experience in engineering, management and sales. My combination of business experience and Christian leadership development expertise puts me in a unique position to work with Christian business owners and leaders to create vision, strategies and systems that will serve the customers, the bottom line, and the Lord. While Biblical principles underly everything I do, I am sensitive to those in the organization who do not share that worldview. God has given me the opportunity to write books, speak to churches worldwide, train teams, coach executives, and counsel struggling marriages. The common thread here is the emphasis and desire to develop God-honoring relationships that are the foundation to success in marriages, churches and businesses. I have trained more than people around the world through our proven relationship building methods. I am certified and ordained as a pastor. My specialities include: training, selling, negotiating, communicating, and leadership, particularly with a Biblical worldview. I am certified in: leadership development, management training, Six Sigma, project management, and counselor selling.
