About Matt Petersen

At ten years old, I wrote my first story: a little book about a boy and his imaginary friend, named "Clayton Bear," who I illustrated in colored pencil. That's when I discovered I wanted to be a writer. Today, I offer a unique combination of extensive writing and editing experience, as well as experience in content strategy and leadership. As a writer, I have more than twenty years of professional experience crossing a variety of content types including feature articles, content marketing and technical writing. As an editor, I have more than ten years of experience providing developmental edits, copy edits and proofreading. Over the years, I've hired, trained and managed the work of more than ten writers and editors, and I also have experience in corporate brand development. While the writing and editing I do today may look and feel very different from that first story I wrote so many years ago, I still feel that same thrill whenever I'm writing or editing an exceptional piece of content.
