About Matt Ruane

I have always had a passion for Video games, and their creation. There has always been an intense appeal to surrounding myself with a new story, and leading a character through that story, and the various trials, and tribulations along the way. Or competing in a competitive scene to try my skills against other players. The Games industry as a whole has always been a great source of interest, and I have always attempted to stay on top of new technologies, and developments as they are released into the field. Being able to work within that industry has been a wonderful experience, and I have had the privilege of working with some phenomenal teams of people across multiple aspects of the development process. In particular my time spent at dreams where I spent each day with a VR set clamped firmly over my eyes, and my time working at Creative Assembly have been two key roles that brought me a great sense of accomplishment. I enjoy joining new teams, and integrating myself into their work cycle. My time spent working on the multitude of projects I have worked on has only given me more desire to continue expanding my experience, and working on new projects.
