About Matteo Morra

I have worked on various Power Plant Projects of different sizes and configurations. I’m familiar with Power Plants from 50 MWe up to 880 MWe with multi shaft configuration (1+1 or 2+1). Some of these Plants have been provided with Steam Recovery up to 270MWt for district heating system or Auxiliary Steam supply for external use. World leaders GT Manufacturer such as General Electric, Siemens, Ansaldo Energia have been always selected for these Projects. As Process Engineer, I’m familiar and confident with numerous simulation and Calculation tools such as Thermoflow. I’ve managed Heat and Mass Balance, drawing-up Plant Performance, Process Flow Diagram, P & ID, System and Equipment Data Sheet, Multidiscipline Information exchange coordination (i.e.Tie-in / Battery limit information handling, Electrical Load List evaluation), Functional Specification, Design Guide, Water Balance, Fluid list, Piping Specification, Equipment List, etc. Furthermore I’ve prepared the purchasing documentation (specifications, quality control plan, data sheet) of heavy equipment (i.e. HRSG, Condenser) and B.o.P. components. I’ve finalized the technical Bids evaluation and assessment of B.o.P. equipment, also managed the coordination of supplies of Packages and components. During these years I have developed experiences on site, as Commissioning, Construction and B.o.P Performance Test Assistant engineer, in particular for flushing activities, steam blowing activities and natural gas pigging activities, Site Acceptance Test of Packages and Component. Finally I have handled the EC Certification of equipment, Assemblies and Plant assembly, in which my Company, was the Manufacturer, managing all activities from risk assessment of equipment up to EC Declaration of Conformities During the above mentioned activities I have interfaced with Final Client, Partner, Sub-Contractor, Vendor and External Engineering Source.
