I presently work as a Data Protection Officer for three out of hours medical service providers and have been responsible for introducing and maintaining a regulatory and compliant environment in these organisations, whilst at the same time working with all relevant stake holders to achieve this; including Doctors, other medical and admin staff, the management team, the HSE and the Medical Council. I have a proven track record in management and operating businesses, and also work as a volunteer with the voluntary/charity sector (in my spare time), and have developed Codes of Ethics within these voluntary/charity organisations, and liaised with the Charity and Regulatory Authority on an ongoing basis. I have well developed time management and communications skills, and am organised, efficient and recognised as a problem solver. From time to time I engage in consultancy work and operate as a mediator and/or a business and regulatory advisor which enables me to draw on a number of skills. I am knowledgeable, experienced and innovative, and am held in high regard for my enthusiasm, skills and abilities. I am a Data Privacy and Compliance Consultant and look at compliance in organisations on a freelance basis. I am also a skilled and experienced Advanced Mediator Practitioner.
