About Matthew Coxon
A lifestyle between my adopted home in France and my University life in the United Kingdom has left me with a broad understanding of two cultures, two languages and friends on both sides of the channel. Bilingual French and English, 2.1 Degree in History (University of Exeter), PGCE with distinction and 4 years experience teaching in Manchester/Salford based schools. My most recent teaching position was as a teacher in Alternative Provision. I'm passionate about creating opportunities for children marginalised within education. I wish to centre my work around the ongoing goal of reducing school exclusions and/or, the negative effects of this. Recently completed an MEd in Psychology of Education. I am now on the cusp on achieving my dream and training as an Educational Psychologist. I am currently in year 2 of my training at Exeter University and on placement in Torbay.
