My journey as a nurse began in 2015 when I joined the medical center as a Staff RN. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a keen eye for detail and a drive for identifying and resolving root causes of issues within the healthcare environment. I possess valuable expertise in conducting root cause analysis investigations within a large pediatric academic institution. My experience in HPI methodology and task analysis has enabled me to effectively contribute to process improvements, ensuring optimal patient care outcomes. One of my strengths lies in my ability to communicate effectively with both groups and individuals. I thrive in forging strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the institution, facilitating a collaborative and supportive work environment. My strong organizational skills and adeptness in meeting facilitation among key stakeholders have been instrumental in successfully executing projects and initiatives. I also have experience as an Epic Application Coordinator, where I held certifications in EpicCare Inpatient Procedure Orders and ASAP Emergency Department. As a coordinator, I took charge of planning, designing, building, validating, testing, and implementing information systems that support and enhance the clinical pathways programs. I have recently embarked on a new journey as a Clinical Risk Manager in the Legal Services department. In this role, I take on the critical responsibility of identifying, evaluating, and proactively mitigating risks and potential liability within our healthcare organization.
