About Matthew Schieffer

From Coffee to Capital I started my career by co-founding a retail coffee concept, where I had the chance to learn firsthand about leading teams, managing operations, and navigating the challenges of running a small business through a global pandemic. That experience sparked a strong interest in finance and capital allocation, which led me to pursue new opportunities as an investment analysis. Today, I’m grateful to work as an Investment Analyst at the Texas A&M Foundation, where I support fund underwriting and manager due diligence. Along the way, I’ve continued building my technical skills—earning FMVA certification and progressing through the CFA program (currently a Level candidate).
