I've worked full-time in a variety of positions since quitting full-time education. In my former position as a head chef, it was up to me to oversee the kitchen and be in charge of all staff recruiting and hiring. In my absence, I would distribute work as needed to allow other employees to gain experience in their own learning. Ordering supplies, employee rotas, data entry, assistance with interviews, ordering, staff vacations, staff hours, and pay were all part of my responsibilities. I have great ICT abilities, including an understanding of how to use programmes like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as technical knowledge of how computers function. During my time as a chef, I got a lot of valuable expertise. I also have expertise in filing, faxing, emailing, and scheduling phone calls for staff and customers for restaurant-related matters. I had to put in a lot of effort to get the kitchen ready for the day, making sure that everything was in working order. Throughout the day, I had to adhere to a variety of regulations and procedures. I would help the cooks in the kitchen on a regular basis in order to give exceptional service to the customers; these activities were accomplished to a high quality. Situations emerge in the kitchen that may be quite stressful and tough. I have the capacity to cope with tough events in a calm manner and succeed even while under pressure. As a leader, I am aware of the needs of others and make every effort to be attentive to them. I believe that through maintaining my calm and demonstrating emotional resilience, I am able to cope effectively with difficult situations. In circumstances where there has been dispute between co-workers, I have also been able to remain cool and settle the difficulties fairly. I work effectively in groups and am at ease when collaborating with others. I am constantly striving to accomplish my best and to assist others in doing their best. I am a self-assured individual who can operate alone. In my current position, I am highly public-oriented, ensuring that public places such as parks, pathways, and open spaces are kept clean and well-maintained. I am involved with investigative work also and liaise with enforcement to serve fixed penalty notices and other fines. I’m always interested in hearing from the public about suggestions on how I might enhance the service I give. I also work with basic electronics to maintain and install sanitary equipment.
