I am currently working in an exciting role for the UK's Health and Safety Executive (HSE) as a Regulatory Toxicologist. I specialise in HSE's work on the Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) regulation EC: 2008/1272 ensuring that we fulfil our requirement to maintain the mandatory classification and labelling of hazardous chemicals. I focus on the human health hazards associated with the CLP regulation, using my Biomedical Science background to solve toxicological problems. Outside of HSE, I give back to my local community by volunteering with the local parish council and village hall committees. For my own enjoyment and challenge, I am currently training to compete in all distance triathlons including Ironman's. My triathlon speciality is long distance running where I compete within East Yorkshire leagues (cross country and road races).
