About Max Robeerst

The M&A tax group in Amsterdam is a member of the wider multidisciplinary M&A transaction services group in the Netherlands. Our M&A practice is involved in most of the leading domestic and international M&A deals. The M&A tax practice covers all aspects of Dutch tax law, including advice on corporate income tax, dividend withholding tax as well as on value added tax or wage tax. We maintain strong working relationships with foreign Deloitte offices around the world. In addition to our core mergers and acquisitions capability, our expertise encompasses restructurings, fund (and carry) structuring, remuneration plans, post-deal (implementation) advice to corporate tax teams and private equity support in various fields.Max is a member of the M&A tax group’s management incentive team. The management incentive team advises on transaction related remuneration, including incentive plan design, remuneration strategies in a deal, IPO remuneration policies and post-deal integrations from a commercial, legal and tax perspective. Key clients include private equity firms, single family offices, listed and non-listed corporates as well as management teams. In view of the specific needs of our clients, we often work in multidisciplinary teams (employment law, pension, tax, etc.).
