About Max Roberts

Following an injury while pursuing the game of soccer, playing in MLS Next in New Jersey and then NCAA Division 1 soccer at the University of Evansville, I transitioned to Kansas State University. Here, I was accepted into the finance scholars program that has allowed me to focus on careers in high finance. I have experience working in Transaction Services, Venture Capital, and Private Equity with VantEdge Partners, a family-office that partners with exceptional founders in services, industrials, consumer, and sports sectors. My time as a founder has also been an enriching experience. I've always valued hard work, honesty, and doing what is right by others. Combining these morals and passion for soccer helped me build a company called EFT, that helps close the pay-to-play gap in US soccer through 6v6 tournaments and merit-based scholarships. I'm grateful for these experiences and the people that have helped me learn and grow along the way.
