About Maya Callens

Hello, my name is Maya and I am passionate about bridging life sciences, business and education! I recently graduated from the master program in Bioentrepreneurship at Karolinska Institute and graduated from the Biomedical Sciences' Bachelor program at Maastricht University. During my bachelor, I got the opportunity to work with a lot of passionate scientists who taught me various skills from laboratory skills to academic writing. I was pushed out of my comfort zone with Maastricht University's problem-based learning, where I acquired valuable communication and collaboration skills. Furthermore, working as student ambassador and communications coordinator/designer at Refugee Project Maastricht gave me the chance to use these skills in a non-study related environment. I am a creative and dexterous personality who is eager to learn and adapt to different environments. I am always on the lookout for my next challenge and look forward to connecting with you!
