Background
About Mearl van Riet
With over 15 years of experience in the wine industry and working for world class wineries such as Rupert & Rothschild with international awards I consider myself a wine specialist. I have been with DGB for 10 years where I manage a tasting room with 3 brands from tasting to sales to marketing of the individual brands. My passion in the wine industry is to educate individuals of the high standard wines South Africa produces. My biggest achievement to date will definitely be opening the first 80 seater Cellardoor for DGB in Franschhoek along with a 150 pax seater restaurant.
