About Mel Peralta

I have been on the retail/marketing/branding/product/entrepreneurial side of things for the past 20+ years. Some time ago (when I had less gray hair), some friends and I got together to start SSG (Stadium Status Group). SSG is a multi platform retail, branding and experiential marketing and production consultancy with one simple premise: Brining the World of Commerce to meet with Youth Culture. We have had the opportunity to work with Nickelodeon, Converse, Fila, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the NBA, Jeremy Scott, Pharell Williams, Theophilus London, Palladium, Ice Cream, Spongebob Squarepants and many more brands, personalities, corporate entities and characters. Prior to that, I was co-owner and C.O.O. at FLuD Watches, an accessories Lifestyle brand based out of NYC. FLuD was an amazing experience and my partners and I were able to sell it 3 separate times in the 8 years that I was affiliated with the brand. What started as a hobby in our founder's mom's garage, grew into a leader in the accessories world within Streetwear and was available in over 1500 stores and over a dozen countries. On most days you can find me arguing the merits of Kobe Bryant's amazing career and how the Lakers are the best franchise to ever play North American Sports.
