I am an independent education consultant working with local authorities, academy chains, independent, maintained and international schools and professional learning organisations. Skilled at securing commitment to educational priorities, I have led and managed a range of teams and complex activity across children’s services and provided strategic direction for school improvement. Having been a secondary head teacher and chaired IEBs in schools experiencing difficulty I have practical as well as academic understanding of school leadership and governance. As an experienced leadership coach with a sound understanding of how to drive change in educational settings, both in the UK and internationally, I have worked with some of the very highest performing independent and international schools and am a regular contributor to educational publications and sector-based reviews and reports.I continue to work productively with local authorities, learning organisations, academy trusts and with school, academy, independent and international school leaders.
