I’m a people-first HR professional with over a decade of experience supporting public school employees—both classified and certificated—through every stage of the hiring and employment process. In my current role as Substitute Employment Specialist at Poway Unified School District, I coordinate daily substitute staffing, onboard new hires, and help ensure our processes align with Merit System rules, Ed Code, and district values. My background blends hands-on experience with a solid foundation in HR practices, holding a Certificate in Human Resources from CSU San Marcos and a Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies with a minor in Sociology. I’m skilled in systems like Frontline, PeopleSoft, and EdJoin, and I enjoy simplifying complex policies so that everyone—from new employees to site leaders—can feel confident and supported. I’m passionate about equity, clarity, and creating systems that work well for both people and organizations. As I continue to grow in my career, I’m working toward becoming a Classified Human Resources Director—leading with integrity, collaboration, and heart.
