About Mengsha Chen

I believe technology can be a powerful adjunct in helping us to achieve health and wellbeing, and I am looking for innovative ways to implement health and wellbeing strategies, exercise and education in the digital space. I'd love to explore ideas together or be involved in any projects in this space, so feel free to reach out if you are passionate about digital health! I am a Titled Pain Physiotherapist with postgraduate qualification. I have worked extensively in community health, private practice and pain management programs. My style and manner are characterized by empathy, care, personal attention, and a drive for client success within each situation. I thrive within the team environment and am well connected within the medical fraternity today. Clinically, I have developed a keen interest in treating persistent pain conditions, with a focus on creating a state of education, empowerment and self-management within my clients’ lives. Most recently, I have developed a passion for Falls Prevention. I run the Integrated Falls Assessment Service with a Geriatrician and Occupational Therapist to identify risk factors for clients who have fallen or are at risk of future falls. I also run a Falls Prevention Exercise Program to build one's balance, strength and confidence in maintaining lifelong exercise habits so that the gains they have made in class are not lost.
