About Menna Ashraf

I’m a creative & strategy consultant who is constantly motivated by promoting impactful products/services and helping people adopt causes. I believe that the communication field holds so much power in changing the world and creating empathy. That’s why my approach always relies on empathy for change. I have 10 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector in marketing and communication. I oversaw the development and implementation of several marketing strategies in Egypt that combine effective advertising with humanitarian causes such as people with disabilities, children raised without parental care, violence against women, and other social causes in collaboration with international and local organizations. I built many viral awareness campaigns and several digital initiatives for small and medium-sized nonprofits to assist them enhance their visibility. Additionally, I worked at two of Egypt's largest advertising firms, which gave me an advantage in my social development work and provided me with a broader knowledge and hands-on experience in the media area. I like working on initiatives that contribute to increasing awareness of marginalized groups' rights, eradicating negative stereotypes, and fostering lasting social change. In a nutshell, my primary goal in selecting these campaigns is to contribute to the development of a positive narrative about some of the community's social concerns by boosting notions of empathy and compassion through aesthetically and intellectually interesting mediums.
