Background

About Michael Jackson

I have worked in manufacturing since the age of 22. I am mechanically inclined and I like the feeling I get when I make something work better or work again. I have experience operating various types of machinery including stamping presses w/coil processing equipment, material handling equipment, some robotic and manual welding. I have experience supervising as many as 65 subordinates. I am a novice with Micro Soft Office including, Word, Excel and Power point. I worked my way up the ladder by becoming a lead person for a Stamping department, then a front line supervisor. I have worked in Supervision for over 30 years and I also was a production control planner for about 1 year. I believe in empowering people and allowing them to take some owner ship over their job. As a manager, your people are your greatest asset. I always listen first, and I always follow up. My goal is to move into the next level of management or Engineering, and to use my skills and experience to help a company achieve it's goals and to help the people I work with prosper.
