About Michael Mallory

Identifying as a first generation college student, I am blessed to say that I am a 2020 North Central Texas College graduate, having earned my Associate of Arts in General Studies. Better yet, I was able to further my education by graduating from the University of North Texas, in Spring 2022, nearly a year ago. Currently, I am ambitiously moving my way up in the education field from paraprofessional to the teacher of record. Passionate about people and social issues, I have spent two different summer's volunteering in missions, once in the streets of L.A. and once overseas in Matagalpa, Nicaragua. Further, I have also volunteered with my church and school on multiple community events. Having had these eye-opening life experiences and been given the chance to develop my interpersonal skills, I plan on using my role as a school teacher to help bring others awareness through the channel of education. Whether this be accomplished through using: lessons to highlight social struggles, or activities to consider other political points of view, or by utilizing my classroom as a safe space for children who don't have that at home. Ultimately, I plan on using my role as a teacher to give back to the community and bless those within my district.
