I am a financial services regulatory specialist helping firms navigate complex FCA expectations and build compliance frameworks that genuinely work in practice.Currently a Managing Consultant at RSM, I advise banks, lenders and financial institutions on conduct regulation, governance and regulatory transformation. My work focuses on helping firms move beyond policy and frameworks to demonstrate clear evidence of good customer outcomes.I have led a range of major regulatory programmes including Consumer Duty implementation, SM & CR framework development, compliance monitoring and assurance reviews, and regulatory governance transformation. This has included designing end-to-end compliance frameworks, drafting core regulatory policies, developing monitoring metrics and MI dashboards, and providing clear executive reporting to Boards and senior stakeholders.Prior to consulting, I worked at the Financial Conduct Authority as a Supervisor in the Retail Banking & Payments Division, where I oversaw a portfolio of banks and payments firms. During this time I assessed conduct risk frameworks, governance structures and operational resilience arrangements, contributed to the development of supervisory approaches to Consumer Duty, and led SM & CR authorisation assessments reviewing senior manager fitness and propriety.I hold an MSc in Financial Services Regulation and Compliance from Henley Business School.My approach is pragmatic and outcomes-focused: helping firms meet regulatory expectations while supporting sustainable business growth.
