About Michael McCusker

Recently completed a Masters in Public Health at the University of South Florida over 15 years’ experience in health emergencies, international humanitarian response, development, and resilience covering over 20 countries on five continents - I have led large-scale, complex humanitarian action in some of the most notable crises of the past decade. Response leadership experiences include: West Africa Ebola outbreak (2015), DRC Ebola outbreak 2018, Rohingya refugee response, Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines and large conflicts such as Yemen, Iraq (Mosul), C.A.R and South Sudan, among many others. Extensive experience working with a wide range of humanitarian and development donors, governments, NGOs, UN agencies, and with communities affected by outbreaks, conflicts and natural disasters. He has a proven ability to effectively communicate and advocate with high-value stakeholders, global audiences and with affected communities.
