Background

About Michael Ohalloran

My name is Michael O'Halloran Jr, and I am currently a Junior at James Madison University. Growing up with two entrepreneurial parents, management became a clear path for me to take. Seeing such hard work and determination firsthand has inspired me to pursue a career in the management sector and, ultimately in entrepreneurship. I have developed my own entrepreneurial skills throughout my work experiences and as my career as a student. Creativity is a strength of mine that has enabled me to craft new ideas for competitive advantages. Sports has always been a love of mine. Even as far back as a toddler, I would wait all week to watch football on Sundays. I can remember the excitement I had as I got ready for my soccer or baseball games. As I got older, I became enthralled with the management side of sports and the process of building a successful team. As a result, I am an avid follower of football, basketball, baseball, hockey, European soccer, combat sports, and even Formula One. Pursuing a career that I am passionate about is essential, so entering the sports industry was a no-brainer. My experience working for Fourth Presbyterian Church allowed me to sharpen my communication skills. I am confident in my ability to set goals and lead others to achieve those goals. Attention to detail is critical because corners must not be cut to reach the ultimate peak. Responsibility and accountability must accompany that attention to detail to sustain ultimate success. I am looking forward to sharpening my skills in the areas of business while completing my degree in Management.
