Background
About Michael Pierce
For nearly 25 years, I have provided my skills and support with nonprofit organizations, community mental health centers, and substance abuse recovery facilities. As a licensed therapist, facilitator, and EMDR-trained therapist, I have served adolescents, adult women and men, transitioning military veterans, and state prisoners on their paths of recovery, personal growth, and self-empowerment throughout the United States.I have consistently provided mindful, somatic and heart-centered modalities to meet the needs of individuals, couples and groups. My focus on ethical collaboration with clients helps them identify issues as I assist them in seeing “their forest” through “their trees.” I also embrace compassionate respect for the myriad ways that addiction and family systems can impede the flow and actualization of a healthy, balanced and fulfilling life.
