About Michelle Pare

Digital content captivated my interest from a young age. I have been working with creating digital content for over 10 years now, starting all the way back in high school when I took a TV/Video class. It is something I found passion for early in my life, and I have always been eager to be in the digital world. I was able to learn my skills and perfect my techniques in my education. I graduated with honours from Sheridan College with a Bachelor's of Film and Television, and I am currently in the process of getting my Digital Content Production micro-credential from North Island College. Currently, in my role as a Communications Assistant, I am using multiple different programs, applications, platforms and technologies. In this position, I provide support with social media management, email newsletters, website maintenance, event planning assistance, and various other digital content tasks. I recently have been tasked with leading an entire website refresh and upgrade. Along with my digital skill, I also have an extensive background with management and team leading. I have developed many strong managerial skills over the past 5 years, including direction, organization, and task prioritization. This allows me to pivot in any direction. I know when to be a team player and when I need to be a team leader. Even when I am not working, I love to keep up with new trends and technologies in the digital world. I enjoy experimenting in new software and creative tools. I also enjoy consuming digital content and exploring what others are creating.
