About Mihaly Csiernik

I have been involved in retail sales and management since 1996. I have had extensive experience in management and sales for various companies ranging from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups. My management positions for Fortune 500 companies have included management positions with Pepsi Co, Borsodi Sörgyár RT, and Gillette. I have also had extensive experience over more than a 7-year period with MBT Hungary. I was very fortunate that these companies, and the experiences I had with them, led to my receipt of the Perfection in Customer Service Award from MBT Hungary in 2009. During my tenure with each of these companies, I learned the following important lesson: If you want your company to succeed over the long term, the well-picked and well-trained team is crucial. I have made this my personal motto in my business dealings. In my opinion, team work is critical. I strongly believe that with well thought-out goals, the right team, and proper motivation, any company can thrive. My work experience has also taught me that over the short term, almost all managers can be capable with any product; but the truly exceptional manager puts equal emphasis on the product, customer service, and employee relations. I have always believed this approach to be the key to the company’s and my own success.
