Background

About Mila P.

I am a freelance writer with extensive experience in editorial content creation, editing, proofreading, and media strategy. Specializing in science and technology communications, I also have a strong background in digital art and lifestyle writing and excel in rich research projects. With a proven track record in managing social media content, designing graphics, and supporting branding initiatives, I am adept at assisting researchers in disseminating findings and engaging general audiences, with a versatile skill set that includes SEO optimization and ghostwriting. My goal is to create compelling content across various platforms and ensure alignment with diverse organizational missions. I have a BA in Journalism from Ithaca College and a certificate in grant writing from Portland Community College. I have collaborated with Projekt Blank (previously MoDA) to spotlight innovative and visionary digital artists and their work in Web3 and NFTs. I have also done contract work with local design firms and manuscript editing, honing my skills in copywriting, editing, and research. The bottom line? I write for the sake of always learning something new. I am always looking for new opportunities to expand my knowledge, network, and portfolio.
