About Paul Jensen

Hi! I'm Paul. I'm founder of Etalia, a strategic communications practice that supports bold thinkers and leaders in global health and life sciences. We work across industry, academia, the UN, and government-funded institutions. Our ideal clients are organizational leaders who are disinterested or even frustrated with incremental progress, and instead want to orchestrate leaps toward their vision. After 16 years in Washington, DC, now I work from a village in Vermont and share an office with my extraordinary wife and collaborator, Carolyn. But thanks to the marvels of technology, our work is global. Since 2003 my career's been in global health education and training, policy advocacy, communications, and organizational strategy-and for most that time I've been providing a variety of services for execs and their teams (at organizations like the World Bank, McKinsey, Duke University, Columbia, Novartis, World Vision and the Stop TB Partnership). Before founding Etalia I served on the leadership team of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, and was the lead technical writer for the Global Plan to End TB. I've dabbled in various industries as a consultant but I love the field of global health. I love the people working in global health, and the fundamental importance of the work to people's lives everywhere. I founded Etalia to help global health research organizations harness their insights in new ways.
