Background
About Miles Royer
Hi, I’m Miles! I’m a junior at UW–Milwaukee, majoring in Information Science & Technology with a minor in Portuguese and a Healthcare Informatics certificate. My journey in tech has taken me from software engineering to technical product management, and I’m passionate about creating IT solutions that genuinely help people. Currently, I’m an Assistant Project Manager at the Connected Systems Institute, coordinating initiatives with Rockwell Automation and Microsoft while building my skills in product strategy and cross-functional collaboration. I also have three internships under my belt at well-respected Fortune 500 companies in Milwaukee: Generac (Computer Systems Engineering), Johnson Controls (Software Engineering), and Northwestern Mutual (Technical Product & Business Analytics), where I gained hands-on experience improving client-facing tools and solving complex technical challenges. I’m seeking opportunities in product management or business analytics where I can contribute to impactful projects while growing my technical and strategic expertise. Outside of work and school, I enjoy leading a Bible study, cheering for the Golden State Warriors, sparkling water, and listening to Almost Monday songs on repeat.
