About Minja Maric

I have always had a genuine desire to get in contact with different cultures and languages. Many other members of my family share the same interest, so we now form part of a big multicultural family spread across the globe. We are proud of our uniqueness and diversity! When I got a chance to enter the world of European Co-operation, I did not think twice. I was eager to get in contact with people and institutions from other countries, and to contribute to addressing common challenges with a view to improving life conditions, reducing disparities and protecting natural and cultural environment of this extraordinary part of the world. It paid off; personal satisfaction and professional growth are immense! I am an experienced programme officer providing 14+ years of support to government institutions and research organizations based in different countries in implementing EU funded programmes and projects. My expertise include: development and implementation of application and assessment process of the Call for proposals, project assessment, project monitoring and evaluation, Interreg, European Cross-Border Co-operation, Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA), Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. I possess strong communication skills - to quote Quintilian - as “a good person, skilled in speaking” in numerous events, seminars, project meetings and webinars. I have developed strong relationships with numerous institutions from the Adriatic-Ionian Region, appraised 70+ project proposals, and monitored and evaluated 16+ financed projects. I have coached 60 Montenegrin beneficiaries in management of cross-border co-operation projects, thus contributing to European integration process of Montenegro. Finally, I have cooperated with Europe’s leading research institutes and world's most advanced laser user facility in implementation and management of several multi-million H2020 and Horizon Europe projects in Hybrid TOLAE, flexible and wearable electronics, photonics and laser science.
