About Misty Frederickson

I’ve learned one important thing working for the fourth largest residential solar panel company in the US and that is there is no substitute for enthusiasm for one’s work. As part of the company’s Talent Acquisition Specialist team, I spend my days recruiting prospective employees, mostly field operations, and I can oftentimes hear the passion for our product and the opportunity to serve others in their voice. While the concept behind solar panels is around 60 years old, it is still a novel idea for some and we rely on our front-line customer service people to be able to explain the benefits in a clear, concise, enthusiastic manner. I’ve spent years recruiting and dealing with the public in a wide variety of professions. I’ve been a salesperson, a manager, an account executive and I’ve even owned my own business. My success at these positions boils down to a few common core values; be trustworthy and genuine, be a great teammate, listen, and always work hard to bring value to your internal and external customers. Oh yea, and don’t forget to laugh a little along the way! I think sometimes people get all wrapped up in the day-to-day minutia that they sometimes forget their true purpose; to serve others. While I think the expression “people person” is oftentimes overused, I can’t think of a better phrase to capture who I am. I love interacting with others, personally and professionally. I especially enjoy the art of being a good listener when I am around others that can help me learn and grow. I’m always actively moving forward and am continuously hungry to learn new things. Learning is a daily goal for me and being valuable to my friends, family, and the company I keep is what makes me jump out of bed every morning!
