About Mitch Provost

I pursued a career in engineering to chase a passion in making things work. My career start in manufacturing established a foundation of quality and precision that expanded my knowledge and practice of mechanical systems. I also discovered a natural skill using computers to solve problems and automate solutions. I'm self-taught and proficient in over 9 computer languages. Continued education on a graduate level helped foster a thirst for deeper knowledge as a Master’s student and academic fulfillment as a teacher. Project work provided me with lengthy experience in accomplishment and success. This included managing the spectrum of project and technical disciplines over dozens of successful projects. My responsibilities included technical, legal and financial management on major capital projects with staffing of over 150 team members and budgets over $300 million. I've been operating a private real estate business for several years that includes mostly investments in residential and commercial property. I own both equity and debt investments in college rentals, multifamily apartments, retail development and short term loans. I'm in continuous entrepreneurial pursuit to feed an appetite for creating value.
