About Mohamed Bareche

I began my career in Paris where I worked in the advertising industry for 17 years. I started as a junior Art Director at BETC Paris in 2002 before moving to BBDO Paris as an Art Director. In 2004 I was hired by Erik Vervroegen at TBWA/Paris where i spent ten years winning multiples awards and pitches. I also worked under the direction of Chris Garbutt in Paris and Lee Clow, John Hunt, Dede Laurentino or Rob Schwartz on global pitches across the TBWA network (Ny, LA, Dublin, Madrid,Johannesburg, Moscow, Milan, Zurich, London, Berlin.). During my time at TBWA/Paris, the agency was named agency of the year at CannesLions 4 years in a row. In 2014 I moved to Leo Burnett Paris winning quickly multiples pitches and awards for Digital, PR and integrated campaigns (for clients such as Samsung, Crosscall, LeCran.). I worked closely with Mark Tutssel in Chicago on global campaigns. And in Milan under the direction of Bruno Bertelli. In 2019 I relocated in Dubai to be a Creative Director at Publicis, where I was in charge of prestigious brands such as KitKat, Pizza Hut, Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum, Standard Chartered, Maggi etc. There, we won awards at CannesLions, D & AD, Clio awards, LIA, NY Festival, one show, Effies and Dubai Lynx for Jeep, Kitkat and Babyshop. We also won notable big pitches such as Le Louvre Abu Dhabi and Pizza Hut. I'm now Executive Creative Director at Horizon FCB Dubai handling global brands such as DHL, Centrum, Visa, Lipton, Dubai Tourism amongst others. So far we won 6 major pitches (Total Energies, Lipton, Dubai Egames Festival, Moniify and Visa) and many awards for DHL, Lipton and Nissan (CannesLions, Cresta, Loeries, Shark, Effies, Dubai Lynx, Andys and Clios.). ​ More than 20 of my campaigns have been awarded 150+ major national and international awards (CannesLions, D & AD, Eurobest, Clios, OneShow, NY Festivals, LIA, Effies, Epicas, Dubai Lynx.) Besides my creative career I used to be an advertising teacher for 7 years at Nancy University, at ICN Business School and also at the Artline Institute in France… ah and i also used to be a rapper for 16 years! We released an album produced in Paris and New York in 2010.
