I have over 30 years of hands on experience in managing information technology, network design, building network infrastructure systems and information security in the databanks, education, biotech/pharma and financial services industriesI began my career at Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation in Amman _ JORDAN managing and programming all the data bank and library information systems. I continued my career at Amman Baccalaureate School by developing and building an information technology team to support the entire School IT and Telecommunications systems. I spent my first year in the USA working for CHIRON in San Diego supporting and upgrading the entire infrastructure building a world class data center and managing an enterprise class infrastructure. Then I spent the next several years working in the finance sector Peoplefirst.com which became the nation’s number one online Auto lender, which got acquired by capitalone. Then I moved into the Network Operations Manager role at Wachovia bank, were I supported the entire infrastructure for the West coast ensuring adherence to good information technology practices by implementing ITIL, SOX, PCI and COBIT frameworks in conjunction with the global information security group. In 2006 I moved into another.com startup FirstAgain.com in the finance sector where I helped build the whole infrastructure from the ground up. For all my previous jobs I have applied state-of-the art technologies and practices to scale these networks to meet the demands of business growth.
