Strategic Leadership & Program Management: With over 10 years of experience leading large-scale humanitarian and development projects, I have successfully managed multi-country programs. At Plan International Mozambique, I led the EU SOU CAPAZ Program in 50 districts across 7 provinces, coordinating 80 project staff and over 1,300 field officers, managing a budget of USD 11 million, and ensuring donor alignment (World Bank). I have implemented results-based management, delivering programs on time, within budget, and with measurable impact, including in my role as Program Area Manager. Budget & Financial Management: I'm expert in financial management, including budget development, disbursements, and financial reporting. I have managed program budgets, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with donor regulations. I'm skilled in using financial tools to ensure expenses align with program goals and donor requirements. Education & Capacity Building Expertise: I have extensive experience in education programming, particularly in teacher training, distance education material development as seen in my work with Oxfam and IBIS. I have a solid understanding of Education in Emergencies (EiE) and have worked on UNICEF-funded projects to develop gender-sensitive school councils and promote community involvement. My work on the WUTOMI Project focused on SRHR for Adolescents, influencing policies in Education and Health sectors. Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E): I have a strong background in M&E, particularly in development programs. At MS-Danish Association for International Cooperation, I worked across provinces to assess democracy and governance projects in primary education, gathering data and using results to improve project delivery. Partnerships & Advocacy: Skilled in stakeholder engagement and advocacy, I have built strong partnerships with local governments, NGOs, and donors. I have represented organizations in high-level meetings with entities like the World Bank and the Mozambican Government, fostering collaboration and strategic alignment. At Plan International and Oxfam, I managed relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring integration of organizational goals and donor requirements. Language Proficiency & Communication: Fluent in Portuguese and advanced in English, I communicate effectively with local and international teams, stakeholders, and donors. I possess strong reporting and communication skills, preparing narrative and financial reports for donors and internal stakeholders, demonstrated in my work with Oxfam Netherlands and IBIS.
