Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of San Francisco, I entered healthcare with one guiding purpose: to improve lives through compassionate, equitable, and culturally sensitive care. Nursing taught me that healing begins with presence, with listening, empathy, and human connection.After nearly a decade at the bedside, I felt a calling to lead, to expand my impact beyond individual patients and toward the people and systems that make great care possible. That calling led me into post-acute leadership, where I’ve had the privilege of serving with organizations such as Kindred Hospice, Compassus, and Bridge Home Health & Hospice. Each role deepened my commitment to building strong teams, supporting clinicians, and creating cultures that make excellence sustainable.Today, as Vice President of Clinical Operations at HealthView Home Health, Hospice & Palliative Care, I lead with the belief that people are the strategy and that how we treat one another defines how we care for others. My leadership philosophy centers on living our core values of kindness, unity, humility, and patience, values that guide how we lead, collaborate, and grow together. When teams feel valued, supported, and connected, they deliver care that reflects both skill and heart.I’m passionate about developing people, mentoring emerging leaders, and shaping a care organization that stands beside its clinicians because they are the heart of the care we provide. I believe in integrating technology and thoughtful process design not to replace people, but to give them back time, time to think, connect, and lead from their strengths. Innovation should amplify empathy, not erase it.As healthcare continues to evolve, I remain focused on building environments where both patients and professionals can thrive.
