At the University of Siena, currently my research activities are mainly on robotic hands, haptics, grasping with multifingered robotic hands, human-robot interaction. In my previous activity at the University of Florence, my main activities were- Vehicle localization: development of the SCMT odometry algorithm, collaboration with some railway companies (Ansaldo STS, ECM) for its implementation - Research collaborations with railway companies on the study of railway vehicle braking performance (Ansaldo Breda, Trenitalia, UIC), on the definition of specification requirements of HIL test rigs (Trenitalia)- Rotordynamic analysis I am author and co-author of 20 published papers on international journals and book chapters, concerning my research activities Specialties: Multibody Dynamics Simulation, Rotor Dynamics, Robot Mechanics and Control, Vehicle Dynamics and Control, Railway vehicle localization, Railway vehicle braking control
