About Mudatheer Mandan

I am a Psychology student at the University of East Anglia, dedicated to mental health advocacy, youth support, and advancing inclusive practices, especially for neurodivergent individuals. Alongside my studies, I serve as a Senior Student Ambassador, where I lead and mentor a team of ambassadors to create a positive, welcoming experience for prospective students and their families. My role involves helping coordinate large-scale university events, conducting campus tours, and assisting with community outreach. This work has strengthened my skills in communication, empathy, and adaptability, all while deepening my commitment to creating supportive spaces for diverse needs. I’m also passionate about understanding neurodiversity and continually explore ways to better advocate for those with neurodivergent disorders. This interest drives both my academic and career goals, inspiring me to seek out roles that foster inclusion and understanding. I have recently gained hands-on experience as a Student Housing Engagement Worker with YMCA Norfolk, where I developed and facilitated sessions focused on wellbeing and life skills. Working closely with individuals navigating housing instability has enriched my understanding of resilience and the importance of accessible, empathetic support. Outside of my professional roles, I’m the Vice President of UEA Photography Society, keen badminton player, and an avid photographer, capturing moment of my life and sharing these on instagram
