I studied BTEC Business Level 3 at Runshaw College. From this I achieved triple D*(168 UCAS Point) and I learnt how businesses are structured, their environment and types of competition. Also, I learnt about the four different types of ownership and I learnt about the economy by comparing the UK and China. During the summer of 2018, I carried out work experience in KPMG and EY. From doing this work experience it took me time to conduct research into these companies which shows that I like doing independent research. Also, I have shown that I was a team player and leader by participating in all the activities and giving everyone the chance to voice their opinions. Finally, I am an EY Smart Futures Alumni and I took part in the Northern Powerhouse Futures Event where I was on a panel with young people discussing the issue that young people face.
