In the current role at Blue Visby, Munaf is responsible for shaping and leading global marine initiatives, ensuring performance, safety, and sustainability. The focus is on delivering measurable results for partner companies through forward-thinking strategies, with a strong emphasis on maritime decarbonisation. Munaf also drives commercial growth, identifying new opportunities and building strategic partnerships to strengthen market presence. Alongside this, Munaf contributes in an advisory capacity to Brain Tip AI, a technology company developing advanced AI-driven solutions for business, supporting their market engagement and strategic positioning. Previously, Munaf was a founding member and Director of Propel Marine, with experience in safety vetting, marine surveying, incident investigations, renewable energy projects, heavy lift, and project cargo consultancy. He has delivered training and seminars, advised on international and national regulations, and been sought for strategic input in complex scenarios. Munaf holds designations including Associate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AAICD), Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (FICS), Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute (AFNI), and is a member of the Australasian Institute of Marine Surveyors (AIMS). He actively contributes to the industry’s growth as a committee member of the ICS ANZ Branch. As a Master Mariner with Class I recognition from AMSA, Munaf combines deep technical knowledge with a proven ability to align performance, sustainability, and innovation.
