About Mustafa Sever

28.3.1961’de Kayseri’de doğdu. İlk ve orta öğrenimimi Kayseri’de tamamladı. 1986’da Uludağ Üniversitesi Necatibey Eğitim Fakültesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Eğitimi Bölümü’nü bitirdi. Aynı yıl MEB tarafından atandığı Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı öğretmenliğini 1995’e kadar sürdürdü. 1992’de Gazi Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü’nde başladığı Yüksek lisans eğitimini 19. 9 1995’te “Erciyes Yöresi Masallarında Tipler” konulu teziyle; 1996’da Hacettepe Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Türk Halkbilimi Anabilim Dalı’nda başladığı doktora eğitimini, 6 Kasım 2001’de “Mersin ve Yakın Çevresi Halk İnançları ve Halk Hekimliği” konulu teziyle tamamladı. 12 Ocak 2009’da doçent; 6 Mart 2014'te profesör oldu. 22 Mayıs 2012 tarihinde Gazi Ün. Güzel Sanatlar Fak. Fotoğraf ve Video Bölümü’ne atanan Mustafa Sever, 01 Eylül 2014-30 Haziran 2015 arası Bosna i Hercegovina, Univerzitet u Tuzli, Filozofski Fakultet, Odsjek za Turski Jezik i Knijiževnost’ta (Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümü) görev yaptı.14 Aralık 2021 tarihinde Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi, İnsan ve Toplum Bilimleri Fakültesi, Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümü’ne atanan Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sever, halen adı geçen bölümde görevini sürdürmektedir.Mustafa Sever evli ve bir çocuk babasıdır.He started his master's degree in 1992 at the Institute of Social Sciences of Gazi University, completing it on September 19, 1995, with his thesis titled "Types in the Tales of the Erciyes Region"; he began his doctoral studies in 1996 at the Department of Turkish Folklore of the Institute of Social Sciences of Hacettepe University, completing it on November 6, 2001, with his thesis titled "Folk Beliefs and Folk Medicine of Mersin and Its Surroundings."Working as a lecturer and instructor at Mersin University between 1995 and 2003, M. Sever worked at Gazi University Kırşehir Faculty of Education Turkish Education Department between 2003 and 2006. M. Sever was appointed to the Department of Turkish Folklore in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Gazi University on November 22, 2006. He became an associate professor on January 12, 2009, and a professor on March 6, 2014. Appointed to the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, on December 14, 2021, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sever continues to serve in the aforementioned department.
