About Mya Debrouwer
Formerly a small business entrepreneur focused on making towns and residences look beautiful through landscape design and execution. Decided to make a career change to a field that required creativity and strategizing, without the backbreaking labour required to dig up sod and haul stones. Received a post-grad education in Marketing Management at Fanshawe College, and consequently spent 6 years in the field as a marketer specializing in digital applications. Coming full circle, I’m now teaching marketing at the school where it all started, working with an incredible array of fellow professors who share my passion for teaching and community consultancy with local and regional businesses. The most exciting part of my job? Teaching and mentoring students as they work hard to achieve success at Fanshawe College and beyond. Adding the latest in digital marketing strategy and technology to the courses I teach is a highlight for me.
