About Myra Bicknell

I have extensive administrative management experience in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors. My nonprofit work includes positions at the WA Association for Infant Mental Health (WA-AIMH), Northern California Grantmakers, the French American Charitable Trust (FACT) among others. I am adept at wearing many hats and switching from one role to another with ease. I joined WA-AIMH in a time of rapid growth and helped the organization double in staff size, developing the required systems in the process. During COVID, we pivoted to 100% remote operations and continued to expand our reach throughout the state. I also grew and strengthened our social media presence. on LinkedIn and Facebook. At Northern California Grantmakers, I managed all operational functions for the organization - Finance, HR, IT, Facilities, Systems and Grants Management. During a CEO transition, I helped manage the team through an interim year that included a new space search and office move, the development and implementation of a new business plan, and a 50% increase in staff size. At FACT I played an active role in implementing the foundation's spend down process and was the main point of contact with grantees throughout the transition. I completed a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Administration at the University of San Francisco and have BA in Comparative Cultures from UC Irvine, and hold a certificate in social media management from North Seattle Community College.
