About Nabilah Ramli
Nabilah Ramli holds a Ph.D. in Vibration and has more than 7 years' experience working with undergraduate and postgraduate students to develop award-winning engineering-based prototypes. She has led an Engineering Capstone Design class since 2014, which combined her passion for technopreneurship and education. She believes engineering graduates equipped with technopreneurial mindset can propel the growth of a country's technological advancement. She supervised the ‘PUMECA PUMP’ project to win the Top 20 International James Dyson Award 2017. Member of IIUM SDG Innovation Lab and Al-Jazari Center, her research project includes development of supercapacitor for renewable energy applications funded by AOARD-AFOSR. She was recently named one of the winner for Islamic Development Bank Transform fund for her work in developing a technopreneurship framework that aims to build the right kind of innovation driver capacities through proper alignment of academia, identified industry partners, entrepreneurs, relevant policy makers, students and well-trained faculty members.
