About Nadia Derbas

With a PhD in Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence and 11+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Data Analysis and IT project management; I’m currently in charge of IT Solutions at STMicroelectronics. IT solutions deployed across all STMicroelectronics sites. I bridge the gap between business needs and development teams, ensuring the delivery of quality solutions that align with business requirements. Previously, AI Project Manager and Data Scientist. I've successfully developed, tested and integrated data science and Machine learning algorithms for image/video analysis, Natural Language Processing and social media textual data analysis. I've published multiple research papers in conferences and journals. I'm certified and believer in Agile metholodgy and Scrum framework. In all my roles, I prioritize communication, quality of deliveries, technical leadership, and a strong focus on delivering value to both business and technical teams. Beyond my professional life, I am a proud mother of two amazing children. I enjoy traveling, swimming and hiking. I strongly believe in the importance of building connections with people from different backgrounds, staying curious and embracing continuous learning.
